Zavratnica Bay
Zavratnica is 50–150 metres (160–490 ft) wide, with a narrow entrance and very steep sides up to 100 metres (330 ft) high. It resembles a fjord only slightly. Its geological origin is very different from the formation of fjords. A mountain stream flooded itself as the sea level rose (this was a transition after the last ice age), forming a bay that is quite similar in appearance to a fjord.
